About Shawn Spencer, Founder of Accqire

Hello, I’m Shawn Spencer — founder of Accqire and a lifelong champion for visionary leaders ready to bring their franchise dreams to life.

As a franchise executive, business coach, and consultant for over 25 years, I’ve walked every path franchising has to offer — from owning a franchise brand, to being a franchisee myself, to building complete franchise systems from the ground up. My first love is the restaurant space, but our work now spans every vertical: service, retail, education, wellness, and more.

I bring deep expertise in franchise organization development, infrastructure creation, and strategic advisory services. The foundation of my work is the Franchise Lifecycle Methodology™, a proven framework refined over two decades to help franchisors launch, grow, and optimize their systems for long-term success.

At my core, I’m a people-person — energized by conversations, collaboration, and connecting with leaders who are ready to grow something bigger than themselves. I’ve spent much of my career in Atlanta, Georgia, and I’m proud to now also serve clients through our new office in Marquette, Michigan, expanding our reach into the Upper Peninsula and beyond.

Outside of franchising, I’m passionate about giving back. My wife and I recently co-founded North Heart Pet Outreach, a nonprofit based in Marquette, dedicated to providing veterinary care and wildlife rehabilitation to rural and underserved communities across the U.P. of Michigan.
